These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the AroundMe mobile application and website at aroundme.pro (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use AroundMe.
  • You must provide accurate information during registration.
  • One account per person. Multiple accounts may be suspended.

2. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for all activity on your account.
  • You agree to provide truthful information in your profile, posts, and listings.
  • You must not impersonate another person or entity.
  • You are responsible for negotiating and agreeing on terms (including payment) directly with the other party.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job posts or listings.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
  • Use the Service for any illegal activity.
  • Spam or send unsolicited messages to other users.
  • Attempt to circumvent blocklists, bans, or suspensions.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service.
  • Post content that is obscene, hateful, or violates Indian law.

4. User-Generated Content

  • You retain ownership of content you post (job posts, listings, photos, reviews).
  • You grant AroundMe a licence to display your content within the Service.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate third-party rights or Indian law.
  • AroundMe may remove content that violates these Terms or is reported by the community.

5. Seller Responsibilities

  • Sellers must be approved through the Partner program to list products.
  • Sellers must provide accurate product descriptions, prices, and photos.
  • Sellers must fulfil confirmed orders promptly and update order status.
  • Sellers must not list prohibited, counterfeit, or illegal products.
  • Sellers are responsible for the quality and condition of products sold.

6. Pay on Delivery (POD) Terms

  • Orders on AroundMe use a Pay on Delivery model. Payment is made directly between the buyer and seller at the time of delivery.
  • AroundMe does not process payments, hold funds, or facilitate transactions. AroundMe is not a party to the transaction between buyer and seller.
  • AroundMe is not liable for payment disputes, non-payment, product quality, delivery failures, or any issue arising from the transaction.
  • Buyers and sellers must resolve payment and delivery disputes directly between themselves.
  • AroundMe provides order tracking and confirmation codes as a convenience, not as a guarantee of transaction completion.

7. Job Posts & Hiring

  • AroundMe facilitates connections between hirers and workers. We are not a party to any employment or service agreement.
  • AroundMe does not verify the qualifications, identity, or reliability of any user beyond the optional verification process.
  • Hirers and workers are solely responsible for agreeing on terms, including payment, scope, and duration.
  • AroundMe is not liable for the outcome of any job or service arrangement.

8. Dispute Resolution

  • If a dispute arises between users, users should first attempt to resolve it directly.
  • If the dispute involves a violation of these Terms, you may report it through the in-app report system.
  • AroundMe may, at its discretion, suspend or ban users who violate these Terms.
  • For legal disputes with AroundMe, the matter shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.

9. Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from the app settings.
  • AroundMe may suspend or ban your account for violations of these Terms, fraud, or abuse.
  • AroundMe may permanently delete accounts in compliance with the DPDP Act 2023, wiping all personal data.
  • Upon termination, your posts and listings will be archived and no longer visible.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • AroundMe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • AroundMe is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • AroundMe's total liability shall not exceed any amount paid by you to AroundMe in the preceding 12 months (if any).

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
